Kandathoduwa is a spot on the Kalpitiya peninsula in North Western Province. Located on the lagoon side, it offers flat water riding during the SW monsoon (May-October).

A beginner to intermediate lagoon spot. Shallow water with sandy bottom. No waves and no tidal influence. A quieter section of the Kalpitiya lagoon system. Good for practice sessions away from the busier kite school areas. Limited facilities - bring your own equipment.
