Overview

Pohang South Beach is the southern kitesurf beach in Pohang city, Gyeongsangbuk-do, on South Korea's east coast. Like its northern counterpart, it faces east and catches NE and E winds effectively. The two Pohang beaches offer riders the option to choose based on local conditions and crowd levels.

Sandy bottom with similar conditions to Pohang North Beach. The east coast minimal tidal range keeps conditions predictable. Intermediate level spot with good urban amenities nearby. Cold water gear essential during the main wind season.
