Pohang North Beach is located on the east coast of South Korea in Gyeongsangbuk-do. This urban beach faces east toward the East Sea and is one of two main kitesurf beaches in Pohang city. It catches NE and E winds well, with the best conditions from autumn through spring.

The beach is easily accessible with good facilities nearby. Sandy bottom and moderate waves during wind events. The east coast's small tidal range simplifies session planning. Suitable for intermediate riders. Be mindful of swimmers and other beach users during warmer months.
