Mangsang Beach is located on the east coast of South Korea in Gangwon-do, near the city of Donghae. The beach faces east and picks up NE and E winds well. It is a spacious sandy beach that provides ample room for kitesurfing, with fewer crowds than spots closer to major cities.

The east coast location means minimal tidal variation, so the riding conditions remain relatively consistent throughout the day. Waves can build during strong NE wind events, offering wave riding potential. A thick wetsuit is required during the colder months.
