Overview

Jukchun is a beach on the east coast of South Korea in Gyeongsangbuk-do, near Pohang. The beach faces east toward the East Sea and picks up NE and E winds. It is a quieter alternative to the more popular Pohang beaches, offering a less crowded riding experience.

Sandy bottom with moderate wave conditions during NE wind events. The east coast's small tidal range makes this a straightforward spot to plan sessions. Suitable for intermediate riders. Cold water gear needed from late autumn through spring.
