Overview

Haeundae is one of South Korea's most famous beaches, located on the east side of Busan. While primarily known as a tourist beach, it also serves as a kitesurfing spot when conditions allow. The beach faces southeast and picks up east to northeast winds well during the colder months.

The spot is best suited for experienced riders due to the crowded beach during summer and the urban setting. Kitesurfing is typically practiced during the off-season when the beach is less busy. The water conditions can be choppy with east coast swells.
