Dadaepo Beach is located in the southern part of Busan, South Korea, at the mouth of the Nakdong River estuary. This wide sandy beach faces south toward the open sea and is one of Busan's popular spots for kitesurfing and other water sports. The beach benefits from consistent winds, especially during the autumn and winter months when northwesterly winds are dominant.

The spot offers a large riding area with a sandy bottom, making it relatively safe for intermediate riders. Tidal range can be moderate, and the beach conditions change noticeably between high and low tide. The area around the Nakdong estuary can produce choppy conditions when wind opposes current.
