East Coast Park is the most popular kitesurfing spot in Singapore, located on the southeast coast of the island. This coastal park offers a long sandy beach with an open body of water on the Singapore Strait. The spot works mainly with northeast winds (November to March) and southwest winds (June to September). The body of water is relatively flat and shallow at low tide. Be aware of the heavy maritime traffic in the Singapore Strait. The local kite community is active and welcoming.
