During the Amihan season (November to May), consistent northeast monsoon winds sweep across Siargao, delivering reliable 15-25 knot conditions. The Cemetery spot benefits from its western orientation, which provides cross-shore to cross-onshore winds during Amihan, creating excellent conditions for all riding styles. The warm tropical waters (28-30°C) mean you can ride in boardshorts year-round.

The riding area features a beautiful sandy bottom with areas of seagrass, and the water stays relatively shallow for a good distance from shore, making it accessible for intermediate riders. More advanced kiters will appreciate the small waves that roll in, perfect for strapless wave riding. The flat water sections closer to shore are excellent for freestyle and practice sessions.
