Seco Island is a remote, uninhabited sand cay in the Sulu Sea, Western Visayas, Philippines, located between Panay and Palawan. This tiny island is literally a sandbar in the middle of the sea, offering one of the most unique and extreme kitesurfing locations in the Philippines.
The completely exposed position means strong, consistent winds from both Amihan (NE monsoon) and Habagat (SW monsoon). The shallow sandbar provides flat water on the lee side. No facilities whatsoever - this is a pure expedition spot. Expert level only due to extreme remoteness, strong currents, and complete lack of rescue support. Accessible only by a long boat ride. An ultimate bucket-list kite experience.
