Roxas is a coastal city in Capiz province, Western Visayas, Philippines, known as the Seafood Capital of the Philippines. The area faces the Sibuyan Sea on the northeast coast of Panay Island and catches Amihan (NE monsoon) winds from November to May.
The NE monsoon provides the main kite season with winds of 12-18 knots. The coastal area has shallow waters and sandy beaches suitable for kitesurfing. Less touristic than Boracay, offering a more authentic Filipino experience. Basic facilities available in the city. Suitable for intermediate riders.
