Overview

Lakawon Island is a small resort island off the coast of Cadiz City in Negros Occidental, Western Visayas, Philippines. The island sits in the Visayan Sea and is exposed to winds from both the Amihan (NE monsoon) and Habagat (SW monsoon) seasons. Known for its floating bar and white sand beach.

The island's position in open water provides good wind exposure during both monsoon seasons. Sandy beach with shallow water areas around the island. Resort facilities are available. Accessible by a short boat ride from Cadiz. Suitable for intermediate riders looking for a tropical island kite experience.
