Overview

Kitesurfing Guimaras is a spot on Guimaras Island, located between Panay and Negros islands in the Western Visayas, Philippines. The island sits in the Panay Gulf and Guimaras Strait, receiving winds from both the Amihan (NE monsoon, Nov-May) and Habagat (SW monsoon, Jun-Oct).

The island is famous for its sweet mangoes rather than kitesurfing, but the winds can be suitable during both monsoon seasons. The strait location can create channeled and gusty conditions. Limited kite infrastructure. Best for intermediate to advanced riders exploring off-the-beaten-path spots in the Philippines.
