Overview

White Beach is the iconic western shoreline of Boracay Island, famous worldwide for its powdery white sand and stunning sunsets. The beach faces west toward the Sulu Sea. While it is Boracay's most famous beach, it is NOT the main kitesurfing beach - that is Bulabog Beach on the east side.

During the Amihan (NE monsoon) season from November to May, White Beach is sheltered from the wind and offers calm conditions. During Habagat (SW monsoon) from June to October, the beach receives SW winds but is generally too crowded with tourists and beach activities for safe kitesurfing. Kitesurfers should head to Bulabog Beach instead.
