Puka Beach is located on the northern tip of Boracay Island in the Western Visayas, Philippines. Named after the puka shells found on its shores, this beach faces north and is more rugged and less developed than the famous White Beach on the west side. The beach catches NE Amihan monsoon winds from November to May.
The NE monsoon winds blow onshore at Puka Beach, creating choppy to wavy conditions. The beach is known for its stronger waves compared to the sheltered Bulabog Beach. Rocky sections and shore break make this spot suitable for advanced riders only. Less crowded than Bulabog but fewer facilities for kitesurfers.
