Soldatka is a kitesurfing spot located on the Caspian Sea coast, near Aktau in the Mangystau region. The spot offers a relatively flat body of water with consistent winds. Since the Caspian Sea is a closed salt lake, there are no tides. The dominant winds come from the north and northwest.
