Shizunami is a kitesurfing spot on the Enshu coast in Shizuoka Prefecture, located between Omaezaki and Hamamatsu. This long sandy beach is part of the continuous Pacific coastline of southern Japan. The spot receives southwest thermal winds in summer and northeast winds in winter. Conditions are typical of the Enshu coast with an open body of water on the Pacific and regular waves.
