Shirasato is a kitesurfing spot on the east coast of the Boso Peninsula, Chiba Prefecture, along Kujukuri Beach. This spot benefits from Pacific exposure with southwest winds in summer and northeast winds in winter.

The water is oceanic with waves. Tides are significant. Suited for intermediate riders.
