Overview

Kamakura is a kitesurfing spot in the famous historic city of Kamakura, Kanagawa Prefecture, in the Shonan region. Adjacent to Enoshima, this spot benefits from similar wind conditions with southwest thermal breezes in summer and northeast winds in winter. The beach offers a unique setting between historic temples and the Pacific Ocean.

The water is exposed to Sagami Bay. Conditions suit intermediate riders. Pacific tides influence the spot's usability. Be aware of heavy beach crowds in summer.
