Fukude is a kitesurfing spot located on the Enshu coast, in Shizuoka Prefecture, between Hamamatsu and Omaezaki. This long sandy beach is part of the continuous Pacific coastline, offering an extensive and open sailing area. The spot benefits from southwest thermal winds in summer and northeast winds in winter. Conditions are often side-shore, which is well suited for kitesurfing. The beach is exposed to Pacific swell, with moderate waves most of the time. The sandy bottom and gradual depth make the spot accessible to intermediates. Fukude is a relatively quiet spot with little crowd, ideal for sailing in peace. Parking is available near the beach. The spot is accessible from Hamamatsu in about 30 minutes by car.
