Sanur Beach is one of Bali's most iconic kitesurfing spots, located on the southeast coast. The vast lagoon protected by the coral reef offers exceptional flat conditions. The southeast trade winds blow side-shore very consistently from May to October, with speeds of 15 to 25 knots. The shallow body of water at low tide allows safe sailing. Many kitesurfing schools are set up along the beach. It is the ideal spot for beginners and intermediates in Bali, while also offering enough space for advanced riders.
