Balian is a kitesurfing spot on the west coast of Bali. Set in a stunning tropical environment with rice paddies in the background, this spot benefits from southeast trade winds from May to October. The dry season (May-October) offers the best conditions with consistent SE/ESE winds of 15 to 25 knots. The body of water is oceanic with waves, reserved for experienced riders. The west coast receives Indian Ocean swell.
