Gokarna Main Beach is located in Karnataka, south of Goa on India's west coast. This scenic beach is known for its temple town atmosphere and beautiful crescent shape. The beach faces west toward the Arabian Sea and receives NW winds during the October to March season, similar to the Goa coast further north.

Gokarna is less developed for kitesurfing than Goa, with fewer facilities and no dedicated kite schools on site. The beach can have rocks and obstacles at certain points. Wind can be less consistent than in North Goa due to the headlands. Best for self-sufficient intermediate to advanced riders looking for an uncrowded, scenic location.
