Spot de

Overview

Dona Paula Beach is located on a headland in Central Goa, near Panaji (the state capital). The spot overlooks the confluence of the Zuari and Mandovi rivers meeting the Arabian Sea. It faces west and receives NW winds during the October to March kite season.

The headland position can create turbulent and gusty wind conditions due to the interaction of sea breezes with the river valley winds. The area has rocks and currents near the point. Best suited for advanced riders who can handle gusty, variable conditions. The scenic location near Panaji offers excellent amenities.
