Colva Beach is one of the longest beaches in South Goa, India, stretching for about 2.5 km along the west-facing Arabian Sea coast. It is a popular beach resort area that also offers kitesurfing potential during the NW monsoon season from October to March.
The wide sandy beach provides good launching space. NW cross-shore winds of 12-18 knots are typical during the season. Less crowded than North Goa alternatives, offering more freedom for kiters. Sandy bottom with gentle shore break. Suitable for intermediate riders.
