Overview

Pingtan Island is one of the best kitesurfing spots in China, located off Fujian province. The island is exposed to northeast monsoon winds that blow consistently from October to March, with regular speeds of 15 to 25 knots. The body of water offers flat to small chop conditions depending on wind direction.
