Kep Thmey is a kitesurfing spot located in Kampot province, in southern Cambodia, on the Gulf of Thailand. This spot offers a shallow and relatively sheltered body of water, ideal for progression. Northeast to east winds dominate during the dry season (November to April), providing consistent side-shore conditions. The spot also works with southwest winds during the monsoon (May to October). The bottom is sandy and the water shallow over a wide area, making it a good learning spot.
