Lake Svityaz is the largest natural lake in Ukraine, located in the Volyn Oblast in the northwest of the country, near the Polish and Belarusian borders. It is a unique kitesurfing and snowkite spot in Ukraine.
The lake is surrounded by forests and offers a water body of about 25 km². The water is fresh and very clear. The bottom is sandy. In summer, the lake allows kitesurfing when the wind is sufficient. In winter, the lake freezes and offers excellent conditions for snowkiting.
Wind is variable, often from the west or northwest. Fetch is limited by the lake size.
