Lisok is a kitesurfing spot near Poltava, on an inland water body. The Poltava Oblast is in central Ukraine, far from the sea.
The spot is on the Dnipro or one of its tributaries. The water is fresh, the bottom sandy. Conditions are those of a typical river/reservoir spot. The season runs from April to October.
