The Kyiv Sea is a large artificial reservoir on the Dnipro River north of Kyiv. The Lebedevka (Lebedivka) spot is one of the main kitesurfing spots in the Kyiv region, located on the western shore of the reservoir.

The water body is vast and offers good conditions for kitesurfing when the wind blows from the south or southwest. The water is fresh and the bottom is sandy to muddy. The reservoir being wide, the fetch is sufficient to generate chop in strong winds.

The kite season runs from April to October. In winter, the reservoir freezes and some practice snowkite on the ice.
