Torö Baksidan is a kitesurfing spot located on Torö island, south of the Stockholm archipelago. This spot is exposed to north and northwest winds, offering good conditions when these directions dominate. The back side of the island provides a relatively open body of water on the Baltic Sea. The bottom is sandy in places, making water access fairly easy. It is a popular spot for kitesurfers in the Stockholm area looking for an alternative to more crowded spots.
