Large open area at the edge of the lake, part of which is located in the municipality of Doussard and the other in the Bout du Lac reserve (part for which access is authorized by the ASTER Association). Be aware that this area is also used for paragliding landings by flight schools.
The launch area is located between the Doussard port and the pebble shoreline that marks the entrance to the reserve. You must not enter the reserve area, either on foot or while navigating. Nevertheless, it is tolerated that riders can walk with their kite up to the most advanced point of pebbles in order to immediately clear the shore and ride upwind more easily.
Once on the water, please do not approach the reserve area (reeds).
The site is open all year except during July and August when the Doussard beach is heavily frequented by summer visitors.
From the main road along the western shore of the lake, between the end of the lake and Doussard. Coming from Annecy, the entrance to the parking lot is just before the La Nublière campsite. The site is located between Doussard beach and the natural reserve at the end of the lake. Leave your vehicle in the Doussard beach parking lot. Cross the port, go over the small wooden bridge, cross the stabilized area in front of the restaurant and children's playground.
