Klinta is a kitesurfing spot located on the west coast of Öland island, in Kalmar County, facing the Kalmar Strait (Kalmarsund). The spot offers sheltered conditions in the strait. The westward exposure in the Kalmarsund allows sailing in southwest to west winds with a relatively calm body of water. The limited fetch of the strait makes conditions more accessible than on the island's east coast. Klinta is a spot suitable for beginners and intermediates, ideal for progression in safe conditions.
