Bergkvara is a kitesurfing spot located on the east coast of Sweden in Kalmar County, facing the Baltic Sea. The spot is south of the island of Oland, on the mainland. The east exposure captures east and southeast winds from the Baltic. South and southwest winds, frequent in the area, also blow well. The water is Baltic with its low salinity. Bergkvara is a spot suitable for intermediate riders. The east coast of Sweden offers different conditions from the west coast, with more variable winds but sessions possible in south to east winds.
