Shamora (officially Lazurnaya Bay) is the most popular beach in Vladivostok, located about 30 km east of the city center on the Ussuri Bay, Sea of Japan. It is one of the most frequented kitesurfing spots in Primorsky Krai.

The sandy beach stretches for several hundred meters, providing good launching space. The water is shallow for a good distance, making it accessible to riders of various levels. The main season runs from June to October, with the best thermal winds in summer.

Prevailing winds come from the south and southeast, created by the monsoon effect of the Sea of Japan. In summer, thermal southeasterly breezes are regular in the afternoon. The water remains cool even in summer (15-22°C), a wetsuit is recommended.
