Overview

Sulina is a kitesurfing spot at the eastern tip of the Danube Delta, where the Sulina branch meets the Black Sea. It is the easternmost point of Romania. The spot is very wild and remote, accessible only by boat from Tulcea. The sandy beach is vast and nearly deserted. Prevailing winds come from the northeast and east. Advanced level recommended due to the remoteness and lack of rescue infrastructure.
