Overview

Tróia is a sandy peninsula across the Sado river from Setúbal. Accessible by ferry. The Atlantic side offers long empty beaches with NW Nortada wind and some chop. The estuary side (Sado river) provides more sheltered conditions. Warm water in the estuary, dolphins frequently spotted. Upscale resort area (Tróia Resort) with golf and marinas.
