Overview

Moledo is the northernmost kite spot in Portugal, just minutes from the Spanish border. A beautiful beach with consistent NW Nortada wind and good Atlantic waves. More challenging wave spot than Cabedelo — preferred by experienced wave riders. The beach has a wide stretch of sand and is less crowded than Viana. Nearby Âncora offers similar conditions. Cold water ~16-17°C. Season: May to September.
