Meco (Praia do Meco) is a wild, dramatic beach south of Lagoa de Albufeira. High cliffs, pristine sand, and a famous nudist section. NW Nortada with Atlantic waves. More exposed than the Caparica strip. Strong currents possible near the cliffs. Popular with surfers. Intermediate to advanced for kite. Beautiful, untouched natural setting.
