Aterro is a beach north of Leça da Palmeira in the Porto metropolitan area. Long sandy beach facing west. NW Nortada. Less urban than Matosinhos, slightly less crowded. Open ocean conditions with waves and chop. Intermediate level. Good option when Matosinhos is too busy.
