Praia do Amado is a famous surf beach on the wild Costa Vicentina west coast, south of Bordeira. Smaller and more sheltered than Bordeira but still catching good Atlantic swell. NW Nortada comes side-onshore. Increasingly popular with wingfoilers who appreciate the wave+wind combo. Shared with surfers — respect priority rules. Not for beginners.
