Aberta a Nova is a remote Alentejo beach south of Lagoa de Santo André. Very wild, within the Natural Park, minimal infrastructure. Sandy beach with NW Nortada — similar conditions to the rest of the Alentejo coast but even more isolated. Mostly a surf spot. Kiting possible on good thermal days but not a dedicated kite spot.
