Wolin is an island located between the Zalew Szczecinski (Szczecin Lagoon) and the Baltic Sea, in Western Pomerania. The kitesurfing spot is on the lagoon, offering protected flat water conditions. The Szczecin Lagoon is a vast shallow water body, perfect for kitesurfing. The Wolin spot offers good water access. The depth is low and the bottom is sandy in places. West and southwest winds are the most favorable. The island of Wolin also houses a national park with spectacular cliffs on the sea side. It is a good spot to combine kitesurfing and nature tourism.
