Puck is a historic kitesurfing spot in Poland, located at the head of Puck Bay (Zatoka Pucka) on the Baltic coast. The town gave its name to this vast shallow bay which is the main playground for Polish kitesurfers. The water body offers ideal conditions for beginners and intermediate riders: shallow water (you can stand over large distances), sandy bottom, and flat water conditions in offshore winds. In north winds, some chop can form. Puck Bay is protected by the Hel Peninsula, which limits swell and currents. It is an excellent starting point for discovering kite in Poland, with several schools on site.
