Mielno is a seaside resort located on a narrow isthmus between the Baltic Sea and Lake Jamno (Jezioro Jamno). This unique configuration offers two very different water bodies just meters apart. On the Lake Jamno side, conditions are flat water with moderate depth, ideal for learning and freestyle. On the Baltic Sea side, the sandy beach offers more challenging wave and chop conditions. Prevailing west and northwest winds work very well on both water bodies. The advantage of Mielno is being able to choose between sea and lake depending on conditions and skill level. It is a very popular spot in Poland, with several kite schools on site.
