Leba is a seaside resort on the Polish Baltic coast, known for its impressive shifting dunes in Slowinski National Park. It is also a popular kitesurfing spot, offering both Baltic Sea conditions and the nearby Lake Lebsko. On the sea side, the fine sandy beach offers wave conditions in north winds, ideal for wave riding. Lake Lebsko, located just behind the dunes, provides a vast shallow water body perfect for flat water and learning. Prevailing winds are from the west and northwest, consistent during the summer season. The area benefits from good wind statistics thanks to the coastal effect. However, watch out for protected areas of the national park where sailing is prohibited.
