The must-visit spot in the Netherlands with probably the best freestyle conditions: close to the beach, you'll find flat water with a bit of chop, and 400m further to your right, 2m waves. The spot is quite large, but also very popular with kitesurfers.
This is the spot that works when other spots have off-shore wind conditions.

Spot opening date
Open all year round
Spot currently open :-)
Parking
Free parking. Two places to park, on the higher ground to access the flat water area and another parking lot below to access the waves. Open all year round, but you must respect the buoys that mark the boundaries of the spot (it's a natural area, otherwise you risk a hefty fine, Natura 2000 zone, on the left side of the spot)
Hazards
The spot can have very strong currents even close to the beach, especially as the tide goes out. It's better to be careful and not lose your board or you risk not being able to retrieve it.
Wind specificities
The wind comes in very well at this spot, but it can sometimes become very strong. If you see black clouds approaching, it's better to get out as a precaution.
