Kamperland (Roompot) is located on the Veerse Meer near Roompot Beach Resort, offering flat shallow water ideal for beginners and freestylers. The kitezone stretches to the channel just before the Sophia Boulevard waterbreaker. Best windrange: 15–20 knots. Booties recommended due to sharp oysters on the seabed.

NKV zone signposted on site. Tide-dependent — check current direction and speed before launching (tidal currents in the Oosterschelde can be 2–3 knots). Roompot holiday park has full facilities nearby (restaurant, shop, accommodation). GPS: Roompot Beach, Noord-Beveland. Access via N256 Zeelandbrug direction.
Oosterschelde: sheltered estuary — flat to light chop, no swell. Tidal currents can be 2–3 knots (check before each session). Salt water. Shallow in some areas, deeper in the channel. Cold year-round. Flatter and calmer than the North Sea — better for intermediate level riders wanting North Sea alternative. Prohibited for kitesurfing in Waddenzee areas (beyond estuary).

Open all year round
Sharp oysters on the seabed — booties strongly recommended. Stay clear of the navigation channel near the waterbreaker. Shallow water limits sailing area in low tide.
N/NNE/NE/E and W/WNW/NW all work onshore or cross-shore. S/SSW: less ideal (passes over land). Wind slightly less strong than open North Sea (protected position). NKV zone respects nature reserve boundaries — check signage.
