De Vooroever is a kitesurf spot on the IJsselmeer near Medemblik (Noord-Holland), between Medemblik and Andijk. Flat to light chop water, 100–150m of standing-depth before the water gets deeper. Ideal for N/NE/E winds — a rare direction that draws kiters from across the region. Yellow buoy zone. Medemblik Regatta Centre nearby.
Free parking on site — navigate to "De Vooroever". Showers, toilets and snack bar in season. Windsurfers typically gather slightly further south. BPR inland navigation rules apply. Navigate to: Oosterdijk 8, Medemblik for the free car park.
