N/NE/E/NW/W best. SW: wind shadow from dyke. Year-round. Summer thermals. Best spring/autumn for consistent wind. Quiet, uncrowded IJsselmeer spot.
Shallow IJsselmeer — standing area but poles/anchors near dyke. Wind shadow from dyke behind. SW creates turbulence behind dyke. Drag-launch preferred. No tidal currents. Summer: swimming zones. Wetsuit in winter.
