Cadzand-Bad West is a North Sea kitespot on the Belgian border, at the edge of the Zwin nature reserve. The spot is rideable with W, NW and N winds. Cadzand Sports school operates from Beach Pavilion De Zeemeeuw at the Zwinstrand (Retranchement) — one of the few spots in the Netherlands/Belgium border zone.

Main access in front of beach pavilion 'De Zeemeuw'. NKV zone markings on site. Large tidal range — check tide times, access and conditions vary significantly. Groynes visible at low tide — know their positions before launching. Village of Cadzand-Bad has full amenities. GPS: Cadzand-Bad, Zeeland. Belgian border 2km west.

North Sea — waves depending on swell and wind direction (medium waves SW/W, larger in storms). Choppy to wavy. Clear, slightly shallower water than further north. Large tidal range (up to 4m). Strong currents at certain tides. Cold: 3/2mm minimum summer, 5/4mm + gloves + boots winter.
Paid parking in Cadzand-Bad village near the beach. GPS: Cadzand-Bad, Zeeland. From N61 follow signs to Cadzand-Bad.
SW/W/NW/N onshore. N most stable and non-gusty. Very close to Belgian border — wind patterns similar to Belgian North Sea coast. No significant wind shadows. Clear fetch from the Atlantic. Good wave conditions in SW/W. Strongest wind October–March.
North Sea open coast with direct ocean swell. Strong currents. Stay within designated kite zone west of the resort. Not suitable for absolute beginners.
